The care at this hospital is fantastic, and their birthing practices are top notch. But they let their patient, somewhere between 4-8 weeks pregnant, walk out of their office because they refused to see her over a billing balance, despite being up to date and ahead of schedule with the payment plan.
Warning: if you have a balance with this hospital, they will not see you, even if you are insured. We were on a payment plan for the birth of our son. We had paid more than the minimum and had not missed a payment. We got pregnant again, and my wife scheduled her first prenatal appointment. Upon arriving, they told her that unless she paid off the remaining balance, they would not see her. This information was NOT given to us when the appointment was made. This seems to be their standard practice, waiting until you arrive to inform you that you will not be seen with a balance. This is their policy, and is in no way illegal, but they are very deceptive about this information.
